It’s interesting how you can be a 5 minute walk to somewhere downtown but have to drive 30 minutes to get there. Summer traffic in Toronto must be pretty darned close to New York traffic all year long! Sonali & Dave got dressed, were married, had their formals done and held their reception all within a few block radius of downtown Toronto. On a Saturday in the summer with a limo, getting around can be a tad chaotic. After Sonali and Dave’s beautiful ceremony at St. Paul’s Anglican church we ventured out to drive to Yorkville. When the traffic just wasn’t budging, Sonali quickly hopped out of the vehicle and said “let’s walk.” Although Dave tried to stop her, she was on a mission and something tells me that that is how Sonali lives her life, on a mission, focused and determined. Dave, you may have to hang on for the ride. (I think Dave is pretty focused and determined too!) On to the wedding!
Sonali & the girls:
The ceremony was held at St. Paul’s on Bloor St. Such a beautiful, old church.
After the ceremony we wandered out back of the church where there was a beautiful sitting area with gorgeous light that my 2nd Tony had found earlier in his “investigation”. We wandered around Yorkville and Bloor St for a bit and then headed back to the Toronto Reference Library where the reception was held.
Absolutely LOVE this next photo taken by Tony!
This next photo just might be my favourite for the year…just the emotion that it exudes…I love it:
Sonali & Dave, thank you for giving us the opportunity to photograph your special day!
