He brought her out to a cottage in the Muskokas for a nice relaxing week-long vacation.  She didn’t know that during that week her life would be forever tied to his.  He proposed with a book that he had custom made with their story.  From the moment they had met all the way to the moment Martin now found himself in, proposing to Cinthya, the woman of his dreams.  She of course said “yes”, because who can resist custom made books with pandas and teddy bears…and well of course the ring!

Jordanah & Michael | Exhibition Place Princess Gates

Brrrrrr….that’s about all you could really say about the day.   Brrrr…..I stepped outside with my short sleeve shirt on “sans” jacket.  Thank goodness something inside me told me to bring a jacket just in case.  Even though it appeared sunny and warm outside, it was the exact opposite.  Even for April, the weather was freezing and WINDY! Did I mention the wind??? But really who cares!?! Michael and Jordanah were up for anything and the weather did not phase them one bit.  Especially Michael who was right into directing me for the right poses and shots! Both Jordanah and I were impressed with how much Michael wanted to make sure the photos were stellar! And of course they were.

We had such an adventure with their engagement shoot.  From finding a washroom, to finding parking, getting told we couldn’t take photos in front of a building, to taking photos in front of the building and getting ready to run! LOL I think it’s fair to say we had fun!

You can’t go wrong with these shoes…in almost any weather that doesn’t involve piles of snow!

Stylized Shoot – The Wedding Planner Magazine

Proud to be publised in the Wedding Planner Magazine Spring Issue:

Wedding Planner Magazine

When Sandra from We Coordinate This contacted me regarding a Stylized Shoot she was doing in Toronto for The Wedding Planner Magazine, of course I jumped at the chance.  First of all if you know Sandra, and have seen her work, you know you don’t say “no” to such a creative mind! She’s pure genius when it comes to helping brides and grooms achieve their vision for their wedding day.  So I knew that this stylized shoot was going to come off amazingly.  Plus, Sandra doesn’t fool around when selecting a team.  She goes for gold every time!  From the cakes, to the hair pieces, to the dresses, to the makeup and hair, to the flowers and last but certainly not least, to the model, everything and everyone was on point that day.

We showed up at The University Club of Toronto  and although we had done a site visit prior to the actual shoot date, the place was more magical then the first time.  Maybe because we pretty much had free reign over the 2nd floor.  Brides, if you are looking for a place with old world charm, welcoming staff, artwork for you and your guests to enjoy and a downtown feel, you need look no further then The University Club of Toronto.  Really.

Many thanks go out to:
