Necoal & Shayne | Roma’s Hospitality Centre

Necoal and I are like Kindred shoe spirits. When I first met Necoal & Shayne for their Mississauga engagement session at Meadowvale Conservation Area, I was immediately smitten with Necoal’s choice of shoes. (If you haven’t seen their session, click here to see it!) So not suprisingly, when I entered Necoal’s hotel room where the girls were getting ready before the big day, she immediately pointed to her shoes and asked me what I thought…Well “LOVE” is a bit of an understatement. They were just the right choice for Necoal and well of course the right choice for me to drool all over. The shoes were perfect. Not only were the shoes perfect, but the dress was perfect, the bridal party (guys and gals) were perfect. Everything was perfect.

Necoal picked a perfect colour scheme…Not something you see very often, and I loved it, loved it, loved it!

Who knew Necoal could sing?? I didn’t but by the end of the night, I was positive that Necoal has some skills!

Necoal’s singing was fantastic, but if you were there, you would have to agree that Shayne’s unexpected “rap” serenade to his new bride, really stole the show. Like I said “perfect”. Judging from Necoal’s reaction, I think it was the best gift Shayne could have given Necoal.

Happy Graduation

This is for my youngest. Can’t believe you are graduating grade 8 all ready. I am so proud of you and the young man you are slowly but surely becoming. Never change. To all of my couples who are expecting, or have newborns. Cherish every moment of it, yes, it can be tough, but it can also be the most rewarding experience in your life. Enjoy every moment of it…it goes by like that. And to all of you blossoming photographers out there, don’t be afraid to just take snapshots. Those are the best pictures most times! So get out your cameras and snap away, don’t miss a moment waiting for the perfect light or the perfect backdrop or angle. Just take the picture!

Brenda & Nick | Liuna Station | Hamilton Wedding Photography

When I met with Candice and Nellie to discuss wedding photography for Brenda and Nick, I was a tad bit more nervous then normal. It’s one thing to have to wow the bride and groom with your work and personality, it’s another thing altogether to have to wow the Maid of Honour and Mother of the Groom. I must have done something right that meeting, because a year later there I was photographing Nick & Brenda’s wedding. Nellie & Candice did a wonderful job planning and coordinating the wedding. I am sure Brenda and Nick were thrilled with every last detail! Brenda and Nick were relaxed and ready to get married. It may have rained on this Sunday in Hamilton, but no one’s spirits were dampered. I had never photographed at Liuna Station before, and it did not disappoint. It was a trip down history lane when the minister began to tell the stories of the old train station. After the history we got down to the serious business of getting Nick & Brenda hitched. Surrounded by friends and family, Brenda and Nick said their “I do’s”.

We traveled to Liuna station in Hamilton where the ceremony and reception were held, even baby Olivia got her turn to show her stuff going down the aisle!
