Pickering Parking Lot Portraits Durham Region Portrait Photography In a Pickering Parking Lot doing Portraits for Farrah
Yup, that’s right, off we went to find a random parking lot in Pickering to do Portraits. There has been a lot of talk and challenges lately about going out and finding the least expected of places to shoot and find nice light, nice “backdrop”. So we decided to go and out meet the challenge. Drove around Pickering searching for a random, good quality, non-busy parking lot for these portraits. Finally found one near a Pickering High School, where the school is set back, and the parking lot is surrounded by trees. An excellent place for playing with gear and rhyming off a few quick photographs. The first few portraits were taken using only natural light, the last one is with one Nikon SB910 Flash and for the life of me I can’t remember if the magmod grid was on the flash or not. I want to say no, just because of the spread of light. All photos shot with either the Nikon 85mm 1.4 or Nikon 58mm 1.4. Pickering Parking Lot Portraits
Hope you enjoy and by the way this is one of my beautiful nieces. She wants to break into film one day, she’s a complete natural! She’s a beautiful soul inside and out. My brother’s pride and joy. Her mother’s BFF. She’s into acting, sipping Starbucks (of course we went to a Starbucks for some photos – more on that in a different post!) For now, here is Farrah.
