ROSEWATER ROOM TORONTO WEDDING : ROBERTO & LESLIE

If you know Leslie and Roberto, you would probably agree with this statement…they are the perfect compliment to each other’s personalities.  He – quiet, shy and calm.  Her – confident, bubbly and beautiful.  On the outside looking in, one may think Leslie, being a lawyer, probably always has the upper hand in the relationship.  But, when you dig a little deeper you will see that Roberto’s quiet humility provides the unassuming anchor to their relationship.  Leslie’s mom put it best when she said, “it doesn’t happen very often, but when Roberto puts his foot down about something, Leslie knows to take him seriously. He is the Yin to her Yang, and vice versa.    Two very different personalities – but two very similar hearts, and on a cold wintery day this 2013, their similar hearts became one…

Leslie wore gorgeous Oscar de la Renta shoes! I may have drooled a little on them when I removed them from their box…

Leslie had all of the women in her life help her create this brilliant brooch bouquet…the butterfly here for example,  represents her good friend’s grandfather who has passed away, but lives on as a beautiful butterfly.

Leslie and Roberto wrote their own vows as well as exchanged letters before the ceremony.

Roberto looked so handsome, ready to marry the woman of his dreams…

Although they did not see each other before the ceremony, they wanted to be close to each other and share a moment together before the wedding, where they exchanged letters, talked a little, cried a little and of course laughed a little.

Then it was time for the ceremony…where Leslie and Roberto, after many years of togetherness, were pronounced Husband and Wife.

The reception as well as the ceremony were held at The Rosewater Room in Toronto.

I don’t know what kind of dance moves these were, but I can honestly say they were definitely not going out Gangnam Style! I think these were some hot Latin dance moves!

Roberto & Leslie, congratulations on your wedding! It was a beautiful day to capture in photos! I wish you all the best and can’t wait to photograph the next part of your journey.  (Spoiler below! Don’t look if you don’t like spoilers!!!!!)
